Open your heart, mind and spirit as Kim leads you through a slow flow or gentle yoga practice. Kim will introduce a book to the class. She reads a passage or a quote from the book. She then weaves the theme of the book into the yoga practice. There is no need to read the book, but book recommendations are always welcome.
Vinyasa Flow links conscious breath to movement. The Vinyasa practice is a moving meditation that cultivates strength, flexibility and fluidity in both mind and body. This class moves from pose to pose with three to five breaths in between each pose. Expect a fully balanced class great for both beginners and experienced practitioners.
Restore helps to slow down our bodies and minds with deep stretching and passive poses. This class offers of blend between long held stretches, and more supportive restorative poses to ease the mind and body. A 15 minute guided meditation at the end of class is a perfect ending to a slow, mindful practice. A great way to end a busy day!
An energetic flow practice designed to get the juices flowing strengthening both body and mind. Flow from pose to pose while linking breath to movement. Expect a faster paced Vinyasa style yoga more suited to the seasoned practitioner.
A flow-style yoga class that takes you slowly through a series of postures, flowing continuously through a sequence of sun salutations and standing/seated postures Focus is brought to linking breath to movement, while relieving tension in the body, holding stretches and moving mindfully. Slow Flow is great for those who are new to yoga, looking to de-stress or wanting to take a Flow class at a calmer pace.
